Spring 2025

So, 2024 was a very busy year for Ditch the Slippers.  We continued to run all of our activities and saw our numbers grow as more lovely clients joined us for the sessions that we run. Everyone enjoys the activities, suitably rounded off by a drink and a little natter.  And all of this for just £3 per session! – which helps go towards our costs.

We held our annual Christmas party in December with all the usual trimmings – lights, decorations, some lovely food and a range of festive songs led by our musicians.  We were delighted that the Crowborough Town Mayor, Matthew Street was able to join us for the event.

Of course, we couldn’t do any of our work without the kindness of our volunteers who regularly go the extra mile and the kind and generous grants that we receive.  Thank you all for this.

As we move into the Spring of 2025, we’ll be continuing to run our regular weekly sessions that we know bring a little happiness to our clients and their carers.  So, if you’ve recently heard about Ditch the Slippers and would be interested in joining us, please do get in touch.
